It has been claimed that consumers could soon find GHD brand products such as the popular hair straightening irons on the shelves in High Street shops, making them more accessible and potentially more affordable for consumers.
Hair brand giant GHD has become increasingly popular over recent years, and most notably has become known for its popular hair straightening irons, which whilst expensive have become a firm favourite with all sorts of people from hairdressers to celebrities and everyday people. However, access to these GHD products has so far been pretty limited.
At present GHD hair straightening irons have only been available to purchase in selected places, and this includes from hair salons and also from selected online retailers. This has resulted in minimal competition, which makes it harder for consumers to get a bargain or find the price of the GHDs slashed in a sale. With a price tag of over one hundred pounds the straightening irons are costly, particularly in the current financial climate, but the high quality finish means that many are prepared to pay the price.
However, there could be some good news for consumers that could see competition in the market increased, and could drive down the cost of the GHD straightening irons, making them more affordable to a greater number of consumers. This is because it has been reported that GHD is considering placing its products for sale in High Street retailers for the first time.
Whilst GHD has yet to comment on the situation it has been claimed that the company will be assessing High Street stores to check on suitability for stocking and sale of GHD products, making the products more easily accessible for consumers. This could potentially result in an increase in sales for GHD.
